Prep

Many of the arrangements established in the Middle School continue in the Senior school  (Years 3 to 6, for 7 to 11 year olds), where pupils are taught almost entirely by subject specialists who build on the sound foundations laid in earlier years.  Pupils are set for maths, English and French.
PrepWe are frequently joined by newcomers to the Senior School and it is our  policy to facilitate their transfer from the maintained system.

Our link with the John Lyon School now means all girls and boys have a direct route into senior school, aged 11, without having to sit an entrance examination.

The education provided at Quainton Hall means all pupils are ready for secondary school, wherever that may be, whether in the independent or state sector.

As with the younger years pupils are most welcome to arrive at school from 8.00am onwards.

Children needing longer before and after school care may take advantage of our Before and After School provision from 7.30am  to 6.00pm.
