Mr Neil Enright, Chairman of Quainton Hall School Board of Governors (Committee of the John Lyon School Governing Body)
Neil Enright is Headmaster of Queen Elizabeth’s School in Barnet, which has consistently been named in the national press in recent years as the country’s top grammar school for A-Level and GCSE results. He attended John Lyon as a pupil from 1989 to 1996. Neil has been a Governor of John Lyon since 2016.
 
Mr John H Dunston, Co-Vice Chair
John Dunston was Head of two independent schools between 1990 and 2010: Leighton Park School and Sibford School. He has been both a Reporting Inspector for the Independent Schools Inspectorate and an Inspector Trainer. A former John Lyon pupil, he has been a John Lyon Governor for 13 years.
 
Dr Sarbani Jollyman, Co-Vice Chair
Sarbani Jollyman qualified is a GP based in Watford. In addition to her clinical practice, she is also an expert medical witness to the Court. Sarbani has been a Governor at John Lyon since 2012 and is the lead Governor for Child Protection and Safeguarding. She has also been a John Lyon parent.

Mrs Monica Palmer
Monica Palmer came to England from Namibia in 1974 and from 1989 became Bursar at Shrewsbury House School in south London, a position she held for 25 years, in which time she helped oversee the school’s many building and expansion projects. She has been a Quainton Hall Governor since 2019.
 
Mr Andrew Smith
Andrew Smith studied Mathematics and Accounting before moving to the Royal Academy of Music (RAM) as a pianist. A performance and recital career has taken him around the world and he is now a full-time member of the music staff at English National Opera and a vocal consultant at the RAM. His son is a current John Lyon pupil. Andrew has been a John Lyon Governor since 2018.
 
Mr David Tidmarsh
David Tidmarsh was most recently Headmaster of St Martin’s School, Northwood for 16 years before becoming an Educational Consultant. A long career in education has seen him in key roles at Forest School before becoming Head of Reigate St Mary’s, during which time he oversaw a move to coeducation and union with Reigate Grammar senior school. David has been a John Lyon Governor since 2014.
