School

20160613090130The children are strongly encouraged to make the most of the many opportunities on offer. These include academic challenge, extra-curricular breadth and a chance to represent the school in  music and a range of sports including football, hockey, cricket, rounders and netball.

Subject-based trips and residential excursions, both in the UK and abroad, further enhance and enrich the education of our pupils, as does the long list of visiting speakers, theatre groups and authors we welcome to the School every year.

Music and Drama  play a major part in the life of the school and many of the children learn at least one musical instrument and take part in school productions. We have a range of highly successful musical groups and choirs who perform in public all over the country.

During the time of enforced lock-down, schooling continued via Zoom and Google Classrooms for all children who were at home, along with the in-school care for the children of key-workers.  These provisions remain in readiness if needed in the future.
