Siege Weapons in P5... 

The children in P5 have completed their siege weapons in their recent DT lessons.  They each made a working mangonel, a scaled down replica of a typical Medieval weapon capable of hurling a large boulder at a castle wall.

Our mangonels were capable of firing small blocks of wood, but with quite some force over a good few metres.  Imagine the damage a life-size mangonel could have inflicted!
