Crimes of an Anglo-Saxon

Anglo saxon justice system

P3 have been busy this week as they have been learning about the Anglo-Saxon justice system in History. They had to work as a team to think about which acts were considered as punishable crimes by law in the Anglo-Saxon period. The children were surprised to discover that the Anglo-Saxons were punished for several different things, from shaving off a thane's beard to killing a slave!
