Pop Art a Hit at QHS
P7 are studying Brazilian artist, Romero Britto, who escaped his humble beginnings to become one of the world’s most famous Pop Artists.
Growing up with eight brothers and sisters, he drew and painted colourful images on any scrap of paper or cardboard he could find. In 1983 he went to Europe to study the Old Masters, before travelling to the USA and opening an art gallery in Miami where Pop Art was flourishing.
His work is now featured in museums and galleries all over the world.
P7 were inspired to create these positive words in his style.
