P6B and P6M enjoyed a cross-curricular History/English trip to the National Army Museum in Chelsea.
The visit, on Monday 3rd December, began with an informative and fun workshop where the pupils learnt about the persuasive techniques used for WWI Recruitment posters. The pupils worked together in groups and reported their ideas back to the rest of the class.
After lunch, the pupils completed a competition where they had to find answers for a worksheet based on the exhibits in the museum. The pupils discovered some really interesting facts, including that the Nursery Rhyme 'Humpty Dumpty' is based on historical warfare.
The trip was organised by Mr Ellis. Mrs Beevor and Mrs Alwaheidi also accompanied the pupils.
