Quainton Hall NurseryOur nursery is located on-site in a stand-alone building with its own entrance at No 6-8 Radnor Road. It opens each morning at 8.30am with the option of an earlier start with breakfast and finishes at 3.45pm. The Nursery and Reception share the same building and benefit from a fantastic outdoor classroom environment and fully enclosed garden. The nursery provides opportunities for a child's individual potential to develop through play-based activities.

The Head of Early Years has gained Early Years Professional Status and leads a very experienced team, that provides an excellent start to a child's education.

We aim to provide a sound foundation for the social, emotional, intellectual, physical and spiritual development of your child in a way this is fun, un-pressured and stimulating.

The Nursery recently received the accolade of " Outstanding" from ISI.

A payment of £350.00 deposit must be paid when a place is offered and accepted.  This will be deducted from the first term’s payment. This fee is not refundable. Any absences, whatever the reason, must be paid for. We are members of the Early Years Childcare and Parenting Services, which means that all children eligible for Government Grant will receive it during the term following the child’s third birthday.  However fees are the responsibility of parents and any grant will be deducted from the normal fees.  If grants are withdrawn for any reason whatsoever, the full fee is the parents’ responsibility.

Notice Eight weeks’ notice in writing must be given when withdrawing a child from the Pre-School. Fees in lieu of notice will be payable if such notice is not received.

Staff Ratio Four staff to 20 children.  There is a minimum of three staff to 20 children.  Staff have the required training and staff hold current First Aid Certificates.

Families may choose morning or afternoon sessions or all-day care for their child. We ask parents to complete a Registration Form and to arrange a visit to the Nursery before the offer of a place is confirmed. Nursery children, whose parents wish them to transfer to the Reception Class (known as 4+), are assessed in January of their final year at the Nursery along with the usual group of sibling applicants for 4+. This assessment is designed to be a friendly and positive experience, for which a child does not need to be prepared.

Our nursery is a member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance and is linked to the Cedars Hub Centre.
